Your Dairy Questions, Simply Answered

Young adult Australians are curious about dairy. They’re turning to social media and peers for answers, and it can be hard to know what’s accurate and what’s not.

That’s where Your Dairy Questions, Simply Answered comes in. We’ve worked with trusted experts to address the most common questions about dairy (from health and the environment to how dairy farmers care for their cows) giving you clear, evidence-based answers you can rely on.

In the age of social media, health advice spreads quickly. But misinformation can mean people cut back, or cut out, important foods. That can leave gaps in essential nutrients like protein for muscle health and calcium for strong bones and teeth.

Our dietitian is here to clear up the confusion. By separating fact from fiction, they explain why dairy remains an important part of a balanced diet, and how you can continue to enjoy it with confidence.

How do dairy farmers keep cows comfortable in extreme weather?

How is the dairy industry reducing its environmental impact?

On dairy farms across the country, practical solutions are already making a difference. Nutrients from manure are recycled back into soils as natural fertiliser. Water is used up to three or four times helping to conserve precious resources and manufacturers are making packaging more sustainable to reduce waste to landfill.
