Population growth will place increasing pressure on food production. Milk, cheese and yoghurt contain a unique package of essential vitamins and minerals that support good health. Despite this, only 10% of Australians consume enough milk, cheese and yoghurt every day.

Our goals.


To encourage Australians to meet their recommended daily dairy intake, we are committed through the Australian Dairy Industry Sustainability Framework to achieving the following goals by 2030:

  • All dairy products and ingredients sold are safe (Framework Goal 5)
  • Dairy contributes to improved health outcomes for all Australians (Framework Goal 6)
