Nutella Doughnut Cheesecake

Nutella, doughnuts, cheesecake, what's not to love? Make this stunning and indulgent dessert with only 5 ingredients and 15 minutes.

Ingredients

250g block cream cheese, cubed and softened
200g white cooking chocolate, melted
½ cup thickened cream
6 cinnamon doughnuts
½ cup chocolate hazelnut spread eg. Nutella
Handy Tips
Soften cream cheese in the microwave on 50% power for 1 minute or until soft. Melt chocolate easily in the microwave by chopping chocolate into even sized pieces. Place ¾ of the chocolate in a small plastic microwave safe bowl. Microwave on 50% power in 30 second burst, stirring until well melted (the bottom of the bowl should still be cold to the touch). Stir in the remaining chocolate until melted.

Method

  1. Beat cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Gradually pour in chocolate and beat until combined. Add cream and continue beating until mixture is thick and creamy.
  2. Line the base and sides of a 20cm x 10cm loaf pan with cling wrap. Pour 1/3 cream cheese mixture into the base of the pan. Place three donuts into the cheesecake mixture and press down firmly. Chop another donut into pieces and place the chunks around the whole donuts to fill the layer. 
  3. Spoon half the nutella into the holes of the donuts. Pour over the remaining cream cheese mixture and smooth with a knife. Chill for at least 1 hour until set.
  4. Invert cheesecake onto a serving plate and remove wrapping. Top the cake with chopped remaining donuts. Microwave the remaining Nutella for 20 seconds until warmed through. Drizzle over the donuts to decorate.
