Forget making a roux and dealing with lumpy sauce... this super simple white sauce does away with all that. Once you try it, you'll never go back!
Ingredients
20g butter, cubed1/4 cup flour
500ml milk
1/2 cup grated cheddar
2 tablespoons grated parmesan
Handy Tips
An excellent base recipe that has many uses. Use for lasagne, macaroni cheese, cauliflower cheese and chicken and corn mornay.
Add extra cheese for a more cheesy flavour!

Method
- Combine butter, flour and milk in a saucepan all at once. Place over medium heat and slowly bring to the boil, whisking continuously until mixture thickens.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute.
- Stir through cheeses and season to taste before serving over your favourite steamed veg, lasagne or pasta bake.
