Clotted Cream, especially home made, is ideal for fresh from the oven scones or desserts.

Ingredients

2 cups (500ml) pure cream

Method

  1. Stir cream until smooth and pour into a shallow oven proof dish.
  2. Place dish in a water bath on the lowest shelf of the oven and bake at 100°C for about 6 hours.
  3. Refrigerate the cream until chilled and set. Use as required.
