Chocolate Fudge Christmas Slice

Ingredients

300g dark chocolate, chopped
395g can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts
1/4 cup blanched almonds
1/4 cup glace cherries, halved
1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped

Alternatively this slice can be pressed into a slice dish and cut into small squares. This slice will keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to a month.

Method

  1. Place chocolate and condensed milk in a large bowl and microwave on HIGH for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted.
  2. Fold remaining ingredients into chocolate mixture and pour into a baking paper lined 7cm x 25cm bar tin. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into very thin slices and serve with coffee.
