Caffe Latte Porridge

All your brekkie favourites rolled into one. Serve this coffee flavoured porridge with a dollop of vanilla yoghurt for added sweetness.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups rolled oats
3 cups whole milk
60ml espresso coffee
2 teaspoons sugar
2 medium bananas, sliced
8 strawberries, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped roasted hazelnuts
extra whole milk, for serving (optional)
Handy Tips
Serve porridge with a dollop of vanilla yoghurt for added sweetness if desired.

Method

  1. Place oats, milk, coffee and sugar in a small saucepan and cook gently over low heat, stirring occasionally for 8-10 minutes or until porridge is soft and creamy.
  2. Spoon into serving bowls and top with bananas, strawberries and hazelnuts, serve with a drizzle of cold milk.
