How many times are cows milked each day?

It varies! Any where from once to three times per day on most farms.

Normally cows are milked twice a day - once in the morning and once in the afternoon. However, one some farms high producing cows may be milked three times daily, and on other farms milking only happens once daily.

In robotic dairies, which use Automatic Milking Systems, cows can choose how often they are milked. The cows walk to the dairy at their own desire and enter the milking booth where they are rewarded with feed while the robot washes their udder and applies sensor-guided cups.
