Yarra Valley Dairy Farm Cheese Shop

Our cheese shop is in the original milking shed here on the farm, right beside the cheese factory.

Tastings of our fresh handmade cheeses are encouraged, and we stock a range of delicious regional and specialist produce,  alongside beautiful homewares and gift ideas. Whilst we stock our own cheese, we also shine a light on some of the finest Australian cheeses being made today.

Our popular cheese plates are accompanied by locally baked fresh breads and various regionally produced charcuterie items are also available to purchase and eat in. Or try our very own Fancy Cheese Toasties or whole melted cheese hotpots complete with fresh bread for scooping!

Waratah Bay Ice Cream Co.

Waratah Bay Ice Cream Co is located in South Gippsland on the Wilsons Promontory coastline, the southern-most point on mainland Australia. Phillip Island Chocolate Factory

Without a doubt, the Phillip Island Chocolate Factory is the sweetest and most addictive attraction on Phillip Island.

Owner Panny is passionate about good quality chocolate and is an innovative chocolatier. He is keen to share his love for this amazing product with everyone he can. Panny has the finest and most delectable chocolates in the area, offering over 190 different treats in the factory outlet for direct sale.

Naturally there is more chocolate than you can dream of, but also other sweet treats such as chocolate dipped bananas, rocky road and ginger and honey.

Panny’s Amazing World of Chocolate is an interactive experience for chocolate lovers of all ages. Panny’s cafe also sells delicious meals, drinks and snacks, all with a chocolate theme.

Caldermeade Farm

Caldermeade Farm and Cafe is the ideal place to stop off on a trip to Phillip Island or when visiting the many attractions of Gippsland.

Settled in 1875, Caldermeade was originally one of the region’s premier beef cattle properties. Today it is a modern, fully operational commercial dairy farm focussing on educating and entertaining its visitors.

Nestled behind century-old Hawthorn hedges is the friendly family café providing indoor and outdoor dining suitable all year round.

Bassine Specialty Cheeses

Bassine Specialty Cheeses is the place to go for all things oozy and delicious in the Gippsland Region.

Bassine Specialty Cheeses was established by Attillio and Mary Bisognin in 1966. Son Glen now looks after the family dairy farm with partner Kaye Courtney, and grandson Luke milking a herd of 180 Holstein Cows. They produce a range of delightful soft cheeses, including feta, brie, camembert, washed rind, coulommiers, halloumi, ricotta, quark, fruit cheese and marinated feta.

Bassine Specialty Cheeses is open seven days a week and they would love you to visit their farm cafe. You can sample their cheeses, have one of the best milkshakes around, or spoil yourself with some freshly baked scones with farm cream, whilst sipping on a coffee or tea.

SoulFoods Cloverlea

The wonderful SoulFood Cloverlea Bed and Breakfast is ideally located among expansive areas of dairy farms on Gunaikurnai Country. The B&B run by dairy farmers is a magical spot to park up for the night and also offers fun and immersive cooking classes using the local, ethical and seasonal produce during the day.

Narkooje Winery

Narkoojee Winery is nestled in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range in Eastern Gippsland, a beautiful setting with magnificent views of the Strzelecki Ranges.

At the Cellar door, visitors can taste the hand-crafted wines and linger for the magnificent food, including locally sourced dairy in their exquisite desserts, in the adjoining Restaurant overlooking the vines.

The Grove, Gippsland

Perched atop the rolling hills of Bass Hinterland, The Grove Gippsland is an immersive food and nature destination comprising an Olive Grove, Wedding Space, Restaurant, Sculpture Park, and self-guided bushwalks across a 60-acre property.

Ross Farm

Located on the outskirts of the charming township of Meeniyan, the Cabin looks over two acres of open space, with views across the Tarwin Valley. The property was originally a small dairy farm and is now part of a larger development Ross Farm, re-purposing disused farm buildings into modern places to stay.
