Maleny Dairies is a family owned and operated business – and you can't go past their award-winning dairy products while you’re visiting the Sunshine Coast.

Located in the picturesque hills of Maleny, Queensland Australia, a tour of the Maleny Dairy farm invites you to visit a patch of paradise on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, to see where the dairy magic happens.

The tour showcases the process of dairy production from start to finish – from the cow to the processing plant and finally the output of a delicious range of milks, yoghurts, custard and cream (which you can of course taste test!) and provides an enjoyable and informative experience for the whole family.

During the tour you can cuddle up to some farmyard friends, feed the animals and watch a hand milking demonstration. Afterwards you can enjoy a wide selection of dairy products to taste test in the Milk Bar.

Cotton Tree Ice Creamery

The Cotton Tree Ice Creamery is unlike any ice cream you’ve ever tasted – and a must try when visiting the Sunshine Coast.

The founders Cate and Peter started off making and selling handmade fudge and ice cream at their first shop, and due to the popularity of their treats they opened Cotton Tree Ice Creamery, where Peter proudly churns his own small batch ice cream daily.

Peter’s method of handmaking the ice cream means it has far less air whipped into it making it extra creamy ice cream, and it’s no wonder why hundreds of people turn up each day to get their fix.

Wittacork Dairy Cottages

The Wittacork Dairy Cottages invite you to experience a genuine Australian farm stay, that has something for the whole family to enjoy.

Wittacork is a modern working dairy farm on 700 acres, containing over 150 acres of pristine rainforest. The farm adjoins Lake Baroon and Kondalilla National Park and is a Land for Wildlife registered property.

Between 7am and 4pm each day, guests are invited to experience a range of farm activities – including collecting eggs, touring the dairy farm, feeding goats and pigs, and helping to bottle feed baby calves.
